He creates new deathmatch items to utilize with his height and natural ability to thrill the audience and wreak havoc upon his opponents, all the while bringing the sport to a higher level. His matches with Abdullah Kobayashi, Takashi Sasaki, and Bad Boy Hido resemble fights to the death, and are legendary. On March 10, 2006 in Yokohama Japan, Ito defeated Sasaki to win the Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, he was forced to vacate his hard earned title due to injury, but returned in March 2007 in a quest to regain his hardcore throne.
